The Challenges

Our client in higher education came to Kelley Austin with the hope of transforming their Sales Cloud and Marketing Cloud instances. As a private university that offers bachelor's and master's degrees, a PhD program, and certificate programs, our client was in need of Salesforce enhancements to improve their marketing and communications efforts as well as their admissions process. 

One of the biggest challenges our client faced was creating and distributing a large quantity of emails that required different journeys with unique entry criteria. We worked closely with our client to prioritize the most important email content creation so potential students could receive accurate and up-to-date information about their programs.

The Solution

To improve the admissions process, our team set up individual journeys for each of our client’s degree programs. By creating personalized journeys and paths, our client’s administration team can shift their efforts to providing student support instead of worrying if prospective students are receiving the right messaging at the right time. Automating communications also ensures that our client can find, engage, and enroll students who are the best-fit for their programs.
